TOMORROW is our Dragon Dollar Store for Second Quarter! We're at the halfway point in the school year and second quarter is complete! That means it is time for another Dragon Dollar Store. After first quarter shopping, our store inventory is very low. Some of you have shared items to add to the selection and we would like to thank you for those donations! For those of you who haven't done so, please consider making donations to our store. New and gently used kid-friendly items are welcomed. Items may be given to Mrs. Kelly in the office or to Mrs. Moore in the Media Center. Weather Announcement: Stokes County Schools will be closed on January 7th, 2025. It will be an optional teacher workday. There will be a 3 hour delay for staff.

The 2024-2025 Nancy Reynolds Spelling Bee was held this morning. Congratulations to all of our class winners! And, Congratulations to Eli Mabe who is our schoolwide winner after correctly spelling the word "powwow". Second Place: Erin Bohannon Third Place: Ivy Martinez Eli will represent NRES at the District Spelling Bee on November 12. Erin will serve as our alternate. It is a great day to be a Dragon!
